Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Snagly ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit this website. We built Snagly to help people find affordable deals, and we've tried to keep it as simple and low-data as possible.

Information We Collect

Snagly does not require an account, login, or any personal information to browse deals. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information through this site.

Applying filters is stored temporarily in your browser's memory for that session only and disappears when you close or refresh the page. "Saving" a deal with the heart icon is stored in your browser's local storage on this device, so your saved deals persist between visits — this is not an account, it's just a small file kept in your browser. This information is never sent to us or stored on any server; you can clear it anytime by clearing your browser's site data.

Hosting and Automatically Collected Data

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. This is standard server activity used for security and performance, not something we actively collect or analyze ourselves.

Cookies

Snagly itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. However, once you click a link to an external retailer (such as Amazon), that retailer's own cookies and tracking practices apply — see their privacy policy for details.

Affiliate Links and Third-Party Sites

Snagly participates in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. This means some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click through and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

When you click an affiliate link, you leave Snagly and interact directly with the retailer's website. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices, content, or security of external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children's Privacy

Snagly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in how the site works or to comply with legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
